Art for Wellbeing

Here is a great opportunity to work with professional artists to develop your creative skills in a flexible and supportive group environment.

Art for Wellbeing will:

  • Offer the chance to meet new people
  • Take your mind off your worries
  • Enable you to learn new skills
  • Help you focus
  • Help you relax

No previous experience is required. The course is free and all materials will be supplied. Art for Wellbeing is intended for adults with mild to     moderate mental health problems.

The course will be run by an experienced professional artist  and is open to residents of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale aged 18 and over.

To access this workshop you need to be referred by the Open Mind Team on (01706) 752 352.

Places are limited and we will let you know before the first session whether you have a place or not.  If the course has already started, it may still be worth giving us a ring to see if anyone has had to drop out.

The course will take place on
Friday mornings
from 10:00am till 12:30pm
