For the last 2 years Rochdale and District Mind's "Get Set to Go Project" (Click here for full details)   has been very successful in getting over 300 people with mental wellbeing issues active - improving their physical, mental and social health. The majority of participants have either never engaged in sport and physical activity before or not done so for many years.

The project offers a wide variety of regular, supported activities including: tai chi; yoga; gym; cycling; football; boxing; badminton; walking; zumba; pilates around Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton with occasional sessions like climbing, archery and watersports.

However the current funding for this project (provided by Sport England) will come to an end in October 2017 and we are appealing for help to allow us to continue this successful and much needed project.
