One-to-one sessions and phone calls

The Dementia Wellbeing Team offer one-to-one sessions and phone calls, providing guidance, advice, and a compassionate ear to those in need of support.

Our Dementia Wellbeing support team is dedicated to making sure no one faces this journey alone.

Dementia is an umbrella term for a range of progressive conditions that affect the brain. When you or someone you love starts experiencing symptoms such as memory loss, confusion and speech difficulties it can be worrying.

We support you right from the beginning of your journey, you don’t need to be diagnosed with dementia to reach out for our support, we are here for you.

Thank you to Rochdale Mind for what Mind is doing for carers. It is a relief to know there is help out there. Please do not think there is nobody. These people are wonderful and will support you through your struggles. It was like a weight lifted to know there is someone for Dementia Carers. There is help out there, you don’t need to feel alone.

How to access our Dementia Wellbeing services

Our Dementia Wellbeing services are there for all who are affected by dementia, including carers and families.

If you are already signed up and using our services, you can ask your main point of contact (for example, your group lead or project coordinator) for a referral to the Dementia Wellbeing project.

If you are new to our services, you can self refer online, speak to a member of staff at The Mind Wellbeing Centre OR contact us on 01706 752 338

You will then receive a one-to-one welcome session. This is a relaxed, informal session to explain who we are, what we do, and which of our groups or activities could suit you.
