We are Rochdale and District Mind.

We are a local charity that has been providing mental health support in the Borough of Rochdale for over 35 years.

Our focus is on recovery, resilience, and wellbeing — helping individuals build the skills, confidence, and support networks they need to lead fulfilling lives. Whether someone needs a listening ear, peer support, or practical tools to manage their mental health, we’re here to walk alongside them every step of the way.

Together, with the community, we’re changing lives — one connection at a time.

Our Locations:

Rochdale Wellbeing Centre – Our head office, and where most of our groups and services are based.

Middleton Wellbeing Hub – (Formally known as Middleton Wellbeing Café) A space for our groups and services as well as those run by local partner organisations.

Tatton Unit Tameside – Independent advocacy services

Prospect Place Rochdale  – Independent advocacy services

Hope and Horizon CAMHS Units, Fairfield Hospital – Independent advocacy services

Are we Mind - The Mental Health Charity?

No. We are an affiliation of Mind – The Mental Health Charity and follow their core principles, but we are what is known as a Local Mind, which means we our own independent charity, run our own groups and as such are required to raise our own funds. We heavily rely on local funding and donations to keep our services going.
