How much does it cost to receive support?
Most of our service are completely free.
Some specific activities incur a small charge which you will be informed about at the point of assessment.
What type of support do you offer?
We have a wide range of services including support groups, crisis drop-in sessions, counselling, dementia support and lots more.
Are your services confidential?
We take your confidentiality very seriously. We will not discuss your case or circumstances with anybody else, except in very rarer and extreme situations where we feel you, or someone else, might be vulnerable or in immediate danger.

Are you the same as National Mind?
We are a branch of the ‘Mind’ tree, known as a Local Mind. This means we have the ‘Mind’ charity affiliation, but we are an independent charity that is required to raise our own funds and provide our own services to those who need it locally.
We are governed by a Board of Trustees and our governing document which is registered with the Charity Commission. We have achieved the highest level rating from National Mind for our quality standards, and are a recognised Disability Confident Employer and hold quality marks for a number of our services including British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Quality Performance Mark (QPM).
I’m worried about someone’s wellbeing, what should I do?

We welcome you to contact us on someone else’s behalf and can guide you to the appropriate support.

Who can access your services?
Anyone aged 18 or over living in the Borough of Rochdale can access our services.
If you live outside of the Borough of Rochdale, but you are registered with a GP within the Borough, you are also eligible.

How do I join one of your support groups?
If you’ve never accessed our services before you can either be referred by a professional, or self refer. You will then be invited to a one-to-one welcome session where you can chat with one of our team about the group you are interested in joining.
