Creative Space
Take some time to relax, try out a fun new craft, express yourself and connect with others at this friendly and supportive group.
All adults (age 18+) are welcome- you don’t need to be an expert crafter to attend! These sessions are about trying something new and having the freedom to enjoy the process of creating in a calming and no-pressure environment.
Previous activities have included:
- Painting
- Sculpture
- Knitting and crocheting
- Drawing
- Paper crafts
- Mindful colouring

How can creativity improve my wellbeing?
Research shows that engaging in small group creative activities can:
- Lower your stress and anxiety levels
- Help to build your confidence and self-esteem
- Give you a sense of achievement
- Help you to express emotions in a healthy way
- Give you a stronger sense of connection to others
- Promote mindfulness and reduce mental overload
Who runs this group?
Our wellbeing group facilitators run the Creative Space sessions.
They help attendees to feel creatively inspired, as well as being there if you want to have a chat.
