You’re invited to our World Mental Health Day 2026 event!

We’re celebrating World Mental Health Day with this year’s theme Spotlight on Support at Number One Riverside

We’ll be highlighting our wide range of services and our team will be there to answer any questions you may have about the support on offer locally. They can help you to fill out your self-referral form if you are ready to start accessing our services, and guide you towards the support that would suit you and your individual needs best.

You’ll also be able to explore other options available by chatting with our guest community partners:

  • Turning Point
  • Action Together
  • KYP (Kashmir Youth Project)
  • Samaritans
  • Alzheimer’s Society
  • NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Talking Therapies

When you arrive we will give you a free ‘Calm Kit’ which this year has been very kindly sponsored by Clay & Glaze. (Thank you for your support Clay & Glaze!). Each Calm Kit contains an activity book, bookmark, postcard as well as a biscuit and a tea bag, so you can relax and take a lovely mindful moment.

We’ll also have a fun ‘Spin The Wheel, Win Biscuits!’ fundraiser, with all proceeds going to Rochdale and District Mind, helping us to continue providing mental health support in the Borough of Rochdale.

You can also stop by our creative space and take a moment to try our mindful creative activity.

Every conversation about mental health is one step closer to making sure no mind gets left behind. We hope you will join us in solidarity and help us to spread the word that we are here for you!

Invite your friends and family, and enjoy a day of learning, community, creativity and connection.

See you there!
