Trustees Week – Chair of the Board Vacancy Announcement

It’s #TrusteesWeek and what a great time to announce that we have an exciting opportunity here at Rochdale and District Mind!

Rochdale and District Mind are looking for the next Chair of our Board of Trustees. The chair is responsible for presiding over Board Meetings, directly supporting the CEO and having the passion and drive to help make a change within the community that we serve. Whether you’re an experienced trustee or taking your first steps into governance, if you have the commitment, values and skills, then we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for a dedicated, empathetic and ambitious leader to help make our mission a reality and lead the organisation closer towards our ultimate ambition: a society where everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.

We encourage applications from people with lived experience of mental health problems and from all ethnic, socio-economic, religious and professional and personal backgrounds.

This is a Voluntary Position of approx. 5 hours per month. Closing date for applications Sunday 5th Dec 2021 at midnight.
